I am new to this blog. I realized that there are many elite or sub elite athletes, blogging and writing about their experiences. Thus, I thought this is the best place to share this.
I am a research student at NIE, NTU, Singapore and doing some fitness and performance tests in free.
The feedback from the tests will be extremely helpful for the sub-elite and elite or trained athletes to know their weaknesses and how they can improve upon them.

Health and Fitness in Free
I am going to conduct a series of tests such as
· Body mass index
· DEXA scan ( Gold standard in measuring the body composition)
· Hematological profile
· Aerobic fitness
· Running efficiency or energy cost of running, Lactate threshold, measurement of velocity at vo2max and peak speed (for speed training)
· Intensity to burn fat and other intensities for endurance training etc.
